1 Week in Cuba

I arrived in La habana airport and I felt very excited to see la habana from abobe. it is a beautiful sight. First recommendation I'd give is to before set a price to go from the airport to the city, I feel I was overcharged because it was almost two times what I was told it was. from that moment on I felt very welcome. I stayed in a family house a friend recommended me, a very nice couple hosted me in a comfortable bedroom with air conditioning. I went to some touristic places but my main interest and pleasure was to walk different streets, talk to people along the way, and by recommendations of my hostess i took the island public transport and ate in restaurants not so often visited by tourist, it saved me a lot of money and give a lot of memorable experiences. 

Next stop in my travel was the amazingly beautiful vibrant Trinidad. I met some dutch girls on my way there who recommended me a very nice family house to stay the night. I was there just for a day and I feel like I went short. Trinidad is a beautiful city with lots of things to do including ecotourism, gorgeous beaches, and sunsets drinking bear, mojitos and watching people dancing salsa, even dancing all night long.

Last stop for me in this incredible island was the warm city of Santiago, and I say warm because of its people, very nice people, very welcoming, willing to help you and interesting to talk to. Santiago is also a very beautiful city, it was recently restored at the time because of its 500th birthday and it was glorious. Beautiful streets to get lost in, the pier, the churches. Also recommended to go to "El Cobre" a city nearby where the patron virgen of cuba temple is located "Nuestra señora de la caridad del cobre" or "Cachita" as cubans call her.
